Getting ready for spring

One of my top goals being retired here at my ranch is independence. I perceive things are bad economically and potentially could get worse. By converting my assets to tangible things I hope to preserve what I have as long as possible.
Finally, after many years of collecting tools, I finally get to use them! I’ve been building something called a ChickShaw – a mobile chicken-house cart. When it’s done I’ll take a picture and share. I took a design I found in a book and modified it to suit me.
Also I have begun to plan a garden – something I have never done before!
My list of todos each day seems to get longer as I get more animals to care for and so I suspect that spring will be pretty busy.
Learning as I do everything – the hard way.
